Nissan News - what's coming in 2011

The All New Pathfinder and Navara STX 550 4wd's are coming in 2011.  Navara early in the year and Pathfinder around midyear.  The 550 nameplate refers to the torque that  the new V6 turbo diesel engine produces.  So if you want pulling power, these are the vehicles for you.  With 170kW of power and improved fuel economy, these 2 machines will be leaders in their class.\

We have had a lot of enquiry on the All New Patrol Wagon. Everyone wants to know when it will arrive!  Nissan Australia have told us that we can expect it in the next 12-18 months.  Read their media release here.  We do know that the Patrol will be released with a 5.6L V8 petrol engine and all new transmissions.  This engine / transmission combination will be more fuel efficient than a Toyota Landcruiser.  A turbo variant is still some way off.

The All new Nissan Micra arrived this month will a new shape, choice of 2 engine sizes (1.2 or 1.5) and it now comes in a manual option!  Best of all, the base model has an "All New" price tag, making it one of the most affordable small cars on the market.  Check out the brochure here.

Nissan will be releasing other new and innovative models in the coming months, including the latest incarnation of the legendary Nissan GT-R, with even more power and torque than before.

Winner of the Nissan Micra Giveaway announced

All New Nissan Patrol

Like most Nissan enthusiasts, you will likey have questions on the release of the All New Patrol.  Nissan hasn't set a date yet and at this stage we don't have a detailed model line up.  We do know that the Patrol will be released with a 5.6V8 petrol engine and all new transmissions. Please be advised as of 1st September 2010 North Jacklin Pty Ltd will no longer be the Sales & Service agent for Suzuki, Kia, Volkswgen, Chysler, Jeep, Dodge and Isuzu UTE vehicles. 

These franchises have been sold to a company trading as River City Motor Group, Kay Court, North Mackay, Phone 7 4968 0111 (formerly trading as North Jacklin Riverside).  The Sale also includes the Used Car yards located at Kay Court (Riverside Used Cars & Driversmart).

North Jacklin Pty Ltd will continue to be the Sales & Service agents for the Nissan and Subaru frachises and will also retain ownership on the Used Car yard located on the corner of Gordon & Milton Streets.
